Do I bring my own AI subscription, or pay for tokens?

Which coding agents do you support?
Claude (Claude Code), Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Google Gemini. ZeroShot reads their sessions and works across all of them, so your skills aren't locked to one tool.
What does the free plan mean — hosted or local?
Both. There's a downloadable Mac & Windows app and CLI that runs entirely on your machine, never touching our infrastructure. And there's a free hosted plan to test the infrastructure — up to 3 team members and 200 sessions per month. Use either, or both, as much as you want.
What counts as a session?
One agent coding session — a single Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor run — counts as one. The free hosted plan includes 200 sessions per month across up to 3 team members; local mode is unlimited.
Is my data secure, and where does it go?
Local-first by default — in local mode nothing leaves your machine, and nothing leaves your repo without consent. The hosted platform is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliant, built on the same security BuildBetter's enterprise customers rely on. You can read our trust portal anytime.
Do you train on my code or sessions?
Never. Your code and sessions are yours — we don't train models on them. The proprietary signal-extraction layer runs over your data to build your skills; it doesn't feed anyone else's.
Can I self-host or run on-prem?
The downloadable app and CLI are fully self-contained on your machine. For teams that need the hosted platform inside their own boundary, Enterprise offers a private VPC and on-prem deployment.
Can't I just do this myself?
